Naftogaz: Court blocks $145 mln of Nord Stream dividends to Gazprom

KIEV, Jul 5 (PRIME) -- A U.K.-based court has decided to block payment of U.S. $145 million of Nord Stream dividends to Russian gas giant Gazprom, Naftogaz Ukrainy said on its Twitter page on Friday.

“The English court has decided to arrest $145 million of dividend payment to Gazprom from Nord Stream,” the company said.

“The court also ordered Gazprom, when making new decisions by Nord Stream shareholders on paying dividends, to receive Naftogaz’s consent or court approval to receive such funds.”
